Sub-base Excavation
Excavation works are underway to reach the formation level, ensuring a stable base for the plinth.

Shuttering
Shuttering set in place to define the plinth dimensions and hold the concrete during the pour.

Brickwork Build Phase 1
Initial brickwork courses laid to establish the substation plinth’s base. Each course is set to precise tolerances, ensuring alignment with the structural design and providing a solid foundation for subsequent construction phases.

Steel work Installation
Steelwork is fixed in place to support the substation framework. Installed to precise alignment, this phase ensures structural integrity and ties in with the earthing system for safety compliance.

Concrete Blinding
A layer of concrete blinding is laid over the compacted sub-base. This creates a clean, level surface for setting out the plinth and protects reinforcement from direct contact with the ground

Concrete Base Plinth
The concrete base of the plinth was poured and levelled. This forms the main structural platform to support the substation, built to specification for strength and durability.

Type 1 MOT Compaction
Type 1 MOT laid and compacted in layers to create a stable and well-drained base. Proper compaction is critical at this stage to prevent future settlement and ensure long-term durability of the plinth structure.

Top Base-Plinth
The final concrete layer was poured to complete the top of the plinth. This forms a smooth, level surface ready for equipment installation and ensures the structure meets final height and finish specifications.
